This is a gorgeous vintage Barnard & Simonds Co. Louis XIII style upholstered armchair dating to the 1960s. Crafted in Grand Rapids, Michigan, it features a beautifully finished hardwood frame with turned legs and supports, stretcher base, brass nailhead trim, and colorful floral upholstery with a removable T-shaped seat cushion.

A wonderful example of Barnard & Simonds’ high-quality American and English Country inspired furniture, combining traditional Colonial Revival styling with substantial construction and excellent decorative presence.

Original Barnard & Simonds Co., Grand Rapids, Michigan label remains attached. Solid, sturdy, and functional, with minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age.
