This is a striking pair of antique bent oak dining chairs dating to the early 20th century.

Each features a broad curved backrest, beautifully figured solid oak seat, steam-bent “hip-hugger” side supports, slender splayed legs and multiple stretcher supports.

Their sculptural lines blend Arts and Crafts craftsmanship with the graceful character of European bentwood café furniture. Rich dark oak finish with attractive age-related patina and normal antique wear. No visible maker’s marks. Circa 1900–1925.
