Antique Empire Flame Mahogany Secretary Desk and Bookcase

This is a gorgeous antique Empire flame mahogany secretary desk and bookcase with Georgian-influenced swan-neck pediment, urn finial, and geometric glass doors, likely dating between 1830-1850.

Features four display shelves, a fold-over green felt writing surface, cushion drawer, and two large dovetailed drawers with lion-head ring pulls.

Substantial columns and dramatic scroll feet complete its American Classical styling. Shows age-related finish wear, veneer losses, wood separations, and chipped damage near a rear foot.
